David Beckham is the face of a new Omega-3 supplements brand coming to the UK this autumn.

Beckham has personally invested in the GO3 brand, which will be the first product line to carry his signature, specially adapted with the number three.

The brand, which was created by Geir Frantzen, owner of frozen food group Findus in the UK, is a range of fish oil supplements for adults and older children. It is set to be followed up with a range of fruit-flavoured chewable Omega-3 capsules for younger kids and vitamin tablets next year.

The star will appear in an advertising campaign later this year and his face will feature on packaging designed by UK branding agency Smith & Milton.

Such celebrity endorsement would usually cost several million pounds. However, it is understood Beckham will forego any fee due to his involvement in the business.

The brand was launched in the US last month.
