In the world of craft beer, microbrewing has really taken off. The smaller and more boutique a brewery, the better.
So we’re pretty impressed by the bloke in the US who, it turns out, has been brewing beer inside his stomach. His auto-brewery syndrome was caused by a course of antibiotics, after which carbs began to ferment in his tum. Free booze!
The bloke himself was less impressed: he was nicked for drink-driving and had felt the fog of drunkenness for years. Still, at least scientists can now set about sobering up his stomach.
