Evian is back with yet another child-themed ad. In it, a series of pedestrians walk past a shop window and discover their reflections have morphed into baby-shaped lookalikes.

But, instead of rushing to the nearest psychiatric ward, our protagonists decide to ‘test’ their reflections by dancing. Sure enough, their toddling doppelgängers pull off some hilariously improbable moves.

It’s doubtless all very amusing, if you’re impressed by slightly awkward CGI and the sight of a baby with a stick-on moustache. But quite why Evian, with its tenuous, vaguely-French-sounding ‘Live Young’ slogan, thinks it’s going to help sell bottles of water remains a mystery. Those ‘Fountain of Youth’ stories never end well.
