June is here! And with it barbecue season. So the cheerful souls at Just Eat got in touch to tell us 58 million barbies will this year be ‘ruined’ by issues including over or undercooked food, long waiting times and smoke clouds.
Of course, soberly choking on fumes for hours before being served a raw meat/coal combo is precisely the point of the British barbie. But Just Eat is catering for quitters with a ‘BBQ rescue’ competition. Send a pic of your barbecue disaster and it might send you a £50 voucher to spend on a more technically accomplished (ie ‘cooked’) meal. And if you want to set fire to that for a bit, that’s your call, traditionalists.
