Farewell, Tiger. The tabby cat, known to Kirkcaldy shoppers simply as ‘Tesco cat’, has moved on to the big scratching post in the sky, his Facebook page has confirmed.

The cheeky cat was well known to staff and shoppers, mostly hanging out in the trolley bay, but occasionally nipping into the store. Expect cat treat sales to fall.
