Love Island fever has gripped the nation, and series partner Lucozade Zero is getting in on the hot and steamy action.

The drink’s debut TV campaign shows a bikini-clad babe at the pool. She is approached by a succession of hunks in trunks – but an embarrassing tattoo and some profoundly terrible dancing sees the lads rejected. Fortunately, in what one assumes is a surprising twist to the format, our gal’s head is turned by a new arrival… some Lucozade Zero.

In truth the partnership itself is the big win for the brand here – in terms of summer talking points it’s right up there with the World Cup – with perhaps a more diverse audience. The ad itself successfully captures the show’s fun, frivolity and fit bods.
