Walkers has ramped up its activity as the official snack partner of the UEFA Champions League with the launch of an on-pack promotion that gives shoppers the chance to win tickets to the tournament’s quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.
Using PepsiCo’s #GAMEREADY hashtag, the activity will kick off on 1 February and run across Walkers – including new Tear ‘n’ Share packs – and Doritos, as part of an ‘instant win’ offering.
Consumers can visit Game-Ready.com and enter the unique code from their packs to see if they’ve scored match tickets or other prizes, including footballs, T-shirts and crisp-sharing bowls.
“This football tournament is renowned as one of the most anticipated competitions in the sporting calendar, and we’re delighted to be offering match tickets to football fans across Europe, including an exclusive VIP trip to the final, the world’s biggest annual sporting event,” said Thomas Barkholt, marketing director at Walkers.

The next round of the Champions League campaign begins on 16 February, culminating with the final on 28 May at Milan’s Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. The on-pack promotion will be supported by a marketing campaign that includes a TV ad starring Gary Lineker and football superstar Lionel Messi.
