Cadbury Schweppes has agreed to buy South African chewing gum business Dan Products, which manufactures gum under the Stirmoral and Dirol brands, for £33m.
Cadbury also revealed that it is planning to sell Bromor Foods, its South African branded concentrate and soft drinks business. The sale is expected to be agreed in the first half of 2006.
