Demand for creamier, full-fat milk is soaring as dietary advice turns in its favour and shoppers shun processed food & drink
Scenes like the one on the right are likely happening across the UK right now. That’s because Brits are glugging down full-fat milk with gusto – or so it would seem, looking at latest sales figures of the stuff.
Grocers have shifted an extra 30.8 million litres of whole milk in the past year [Worldpanel by Numerator 52 w/e 18 June 2025]. That’s a 2.4% rise in volumes. Conversely, semi-skimmed and skimmed milk have suffered respective volume declines of 2.1% and 1.5%.
