Dairy drinks have enjoyed sweet sales growth – but potential inclusion in the soft drinks industry levy is turning things sour
It’s been a sweet year for dairy drinks. Take-home value sales have surged 13.7% on volumes up 8.2% [Worldpanel by Numerator 52 w/e 15 June 2025]. That’s an extra £50m and 11.8 million litres through tills.
But the mood is now turning sour as suppliers face the prospect of being dragged into the Soft Drinks Industry Levy.
