Waitrose has issued a product recall for several chicken lines following a possible contamination of salmonella in its own label Sweet Chilli Mini Fillets 200g.
The retailer has also removed five other own brand chicken lines as well as Moy Park Roast Chicken Tikka Breast Fillets 250g.
The products are all manufactured exclusively for Waitrose by Moy Park (Craigavon).
Meanwhile Morrisons has also withdrawn its own brand Two Roast Chicken Boneless Breast Fillets with a sugar glaze 240g. This followed a consumer complaint that the product was undercooked. The affected line has a use-by date of October 27.
