Aldi’s Nord and Sud stores in Germany are to introduce a new system for the collection of mono-use drinks packaging from January.
All those items liable to a 25c deposit will have a special label on them.
In addition both companies said they would remove drinks cans from their shelves and that Aldi Nord would remove mono-use glass bottles.
