The team managing Alldays and its integration into the Co-operative Group has been finalised.
Neil Braithwaite, Co-operative Group general manager for retail finance, has been appointed Alldays' chief executive designate. Braithwaite will work with existing chief executive Stuart Lawson until he leaves on April 30.
The Co-operative Group's chief general manager for buying Mike Goulthorp has taken additional responsibility for Alldays' buying, supplies, franchising and Movie Nights video rental operations.
Debbie Robinson, general manager for retail brands at the Co-operative Group, keeps her role, and adds marketing for Alldays during integration. Co-operative Group general manager John Bearne will manage Alldays' distribution and Co-operative Group HR manager Tony Perryman will oversee Alldays' personnel, training and communications departments.
Five senior managers have left Alldays by mutual agreement. They are buying director Andy Davis, marketing director Sally Nicholls, procurement director Jim Milne, central operations director Kevin Merralls and HR director Mark Oxton.
The Co-operative Group deputy general manager for retail finance Steve Humes will replace Alldays' finance director Mark Robson.
