A Pepperami-style ad campaign for Frubes, Yoplait Dairy Crest’s fromage frais in a tube for kids, hits TV screens from Tuesday, June 7.
The 10-second ads by Aardman Animations of Wallace & Grommit fame feature three of the 24 on-pack characters - Si the Surfer, Stanley the Gangster and Frank the Footballer. They cut from the animated character being grabbed by a giant hand to a real boy taking a Frube from his lunchbox and tearing it open to a voiceover from Little Britain star Matt Lucas: “Frubes - rip their head off and suck their guts out.”
