Morrisons has named Philip Cox as a non-executive director. Cox, who joins on 1 April, is CEO of International Power as well as a non-executive director at Wincanton.

Petraea Heynike is the new executive vice president in charge of strategic business units, marketing and sales, and Nespresso at Nestlé. Heynike is currently head of the chocolate, confectionery and biscuits strategic business unit at Nestlé and has worked at the company for 36 years.

Jaqui Green has joined Capespan as commercial director. Green has worked for KG Fruits, Compagnie Fruitière and Thames Fruit and will be responsible for Capespan's Tesco account.

The Can Makers, the body representing the UK manufacturers of beer and carbonated soft drinks cans, has appointed Vince Major as its new chairman. Major will lead The Can Makers for the next two years and will focus on promoting sustainability.

Ingredients specialist Beacon Foods has named Jonathan Hayward as its new operations manager. He has previously worked for Sunjuice, RHM, Sun Valley Foods and the Speciality Sauce Company and will take control of the production, transport, technical and accounts departments in his new role.

European housewares brand Brabantia has appointed Jakub Balter as UK marketing manager. Balter's career spans marketing and sales roles with Leica Geosystems UK, Robert Bosch Power Tools in the UK and Germany, and most recently with Nestlé Poland.

Kate's Cakes has appointed Gillian Flowers and Christopher Climpson as national account managers. Flowers will be a NAM in the user end team while Climpson will focus on wholesale.

Richard McLelland has joined Scottish brewer Brewdog as UK sales manager to head the company's growth plans for pubs, clubs and the on-trade.
