Morrisons and Asda share top spot in the retailer chart, and stand eight percentage points ahead of the rest. Tesco moves up to third place, pushing Safeway down to number four.
The top three are strong on alcoholic drinks and Tesco is particularly active in frozen. Tesco and Morrisons are dominated by multibuys while Safeway makes good use of price promotions.
Alcoholic drinks remains at the top of the category chart with a lead of 10 percentage points, although this is down on last week.
Frozen moves up the chart from number four to take second place, pushing both soft drinks and household down by one place.
Cakes and biscuits comes in as a new entry at number five with a wide variety of offers sited on gondola ends and off fixture displays.
In the brand chart everything changes, with four brands moving up the chart to take the top spots. Heinz comes in at number one with a variety of multibuy offers followed by Cadbury's at number two. There are five new entries this week, including McVitie's, Tango and Mars.
Tango makes good use of floor stacks in conjunction with price promotions and buy one get one free offers, while Mars is most noticeably focused on offers on its ice cream bars.
In the own label chart frozen moves up to claim the top spot, pushing household down to number two. Multibuy offers dominate the frozen category while price promotions are more prevalent in household.
Alcoholic drinks and soft drinks remain in the same positions as last week with both categories focused upon gondola ends.
