Asian frozen desserts company Tubzee Ice Cream Industries has won listings for its products in two Asda stores as part of the supermarket's support for local businesses.
The Halifax-based company launched its kulfi ice cream - an Asian delicacy made from condensed milk - into Asda stores at Dewsbury and Halifax on Friday (March 17).
Both stores are stocking one-litre tubs of kulfi in pistachio, mango and original flavours as well as packs of five kulfi-style lollies in each variant. Additional flavours are also being considered.
It is the first multiple listing for Tubzee, which said it expected to roll out products into more Asda stores later in the year and was in talks with other multiples to secure further listings.
