Kent confectionery brand Fudge Kitchen has secured its first listing in Russia.
Globus Gourmet, a high-end Continental grocer across Moscow and St Petersburg, is stocking a quintet of Fudge Kitchen nine-piece lines: Love Fudge, Mixology Confection, Puddings Collection, Taster Selection and Best of British.
The brand attributed the Russian deal to its regular presence at international trade shows including Sial in Paris and Cologne’s ISM and Anuga. Its handmade sweets also have retail presence in Continental Europe, Dubai, New Zealand and the US.
The news comes as Fudge Kitchen has won more shelf space in Waitrose, rolling three SKUs into 200 main stores: The Twelve Flavours Of Christmas, Himalayan Salted Caramels and Mixology Confection. The brand already has 15 lines in 22 Waitrose Home branches.
