Londis has revised its core breakfast package in a bid to drive sales to the category.
It has identified 19 must-stock products - from bacon and eggs to orange juice, pancakes and muffins - to help retailers capitalise on breakfast.
The package, which was launched this month, includes products from the SuperValu own-label range such as smoked back bacon, free range eggs and apple juice, as well as Londis own label and brands including Kingsmill and Tropicana.
The products will be featured in regular three-weekly promotional offers on breakfast lines and promoted on consumer leaflets.
Accompanying the range is a new breakfast guide for retailers, which includes top tips and guidance on how to minimise waste and comply with chilled legislation.
“Getting your breakfast offer right is a quick and easy way for independent retailers to drive sales,” said Londis sales director Scott Wharton.
“Our new breakfast range and best practice guide gives Londis retailers everything they need, and at the right price, to make the most of the growth potential of this category.”
