Crediton said the product was a ’natural development’ for the brand

Crediton Dairy has expanded its Arctic Iced Coffee range with a new one-litre carton.

Designed to appeal to the growing in-home market, the cartons will be available initially in the brand’s Café Latte variant from mid-June in more than 1,000 Co-op and Tesco stores nationwide (rsp: £1.99).

The launch will be supported by on and offline media. As well as benefiting from the ongoing marketing support being given to the entire Arctic range, the brand will also be work with influencers to generate specific one-litre content, including in-home recipes to be used with the product.

The extension into one litre packs comes as Arctic Coffee continues to out-perform the iced coffee market with value sales growth up 49% year on year [IRI total market 52 w/e 19 April].

Crediton Dairy sees sales jump 7% in ‘year of transformation’

“Following on from the success and continuing growth of Arctic Coffee’s 330ml on-the-go pack it was a natural development to move into the larger one litre carton for the in-home market,” said Crediton head of marketing Abigail Kelly.

“We believe it will broaden Arctic Coffee’s audience to reach new consumers as well as giving our existing consumers what they want.”

Consumers had been calling for a larger variant of the drink for use at home “for some time”, Kelly added.

“The addition of a larger pack in the Arctic range will allow our consumers to drink it where they like and with our younger consumers, in particular, often preferring to drink coffee in an iced format it will enable them to keep it at home to drink it whenever they want.”
