Brighton fish merchant Christopher Leonard Bish was sentenced at Hove Crown Court to 21 months in prison after falsely claiming more than £5.5m from a finance company.
Bish, a director of Jelfish Ltd, Lower Goods Yard, Trafalgar Street, Brighton, made £700,000 profit for his company by inventing a network of customers and claiming money from the finance company that would cover credit on bogus sales.
