Starbucks has rolled out its festive red cups to grocery retail for the first time, launching a limited-edition red-cup version of its Caramel Macchiato coffee drink.

The chain switches from its white cups to red cups every November to mark the festive season, and runs a “countdown to red cups” in stores and online. A red cup version of its RTD Discoveries Caramel Macchiato drink, produced by Arla Foods, went into retailers last week (rsp £1.49).
