With sweet and salty flavour combinations proving a big hit with consumers right now, this launch from Nomo is bang on trend, combining smooth chocolate with crunchy salted corn. The product is also gluten-free and suitable for vegans (though you wouldn’t know it wasn’t milk chocolate, said our judges) allowing a wider demographic to safely tuck into one of the 32g bars.
“Taste-wise this absolutely delivers,” said one judge, who had high praise for the quality of the ingredient deck, too. Another said its “sweet and salty kick was subtle and full of flavour”. A price tag of £1.50 also felt great value for money in the often high-priced plant-based category.
