Champion: illy Brasile Arabica Selection Cerrado Mineiro coffee in compatible capsules
This line extension to illy’s Arabica Selection Brasile Beans may have a similar flavour profile, but the innovation comes from its more sustainable sourcing practices.
Acquired from a single region of origin, ‘Cerrado Mineiro,’ the coffee is produced with 100% Arabica beans grown using certified regenerative agriculture practices. Research suggests that around half the land currently used for high-quality coffee will be unproductive by 2050, as a result of climate change, and – as part of its plans to tackle this – illy says it will progressively replace its previous Brasile variant with this regeneratively farmed alternative across all formats.
