Finlay's Foods is fishing for vegetarian custom with the launch of a fish free Beluga caviar taste-a-like called Cavi Art. The company said its £4.99 100g product is easier on the wallet than salted sturgeon fish eggs which typically weigh in at £150. The seaweed based caviar alternative is an ambient product with a shelf life of three years. It is certified kosher, GM free and carries the Vegetarian Society logo. Finlay's Food claims that Cavi Art looks, tastes and smells like Beluga caviar and that it shares the aphrodisiac properties associated with fish based caviar. It also says it can help cure hangovers, increase tolerance to alcohol and speed recovery from surgery. Finlay's Food is working with Petty Wood to secure distribution for Cavi Art. {{P&P }}
