Crave multipack snacks

Both the new snacks are gluten-free and vegan friendly

Challenger snacking brand Crave has unveiled Cheezy Shuffles and Roast Beef-ish Rotaters.

The addition of the new gluten-free and vegan savoury snacking duo marks the first time the supplier has launched products in a multipack format (rsp: £2.75/5x18g).

Cheezy Shuffles are described as a “vegan twist on cheese-flavoured potato curls”. They have debuted in 250 Sainsbury’s stores.

Roast Beef-ish Rotaters, meanwhile, are “beef-flavoured potato hoops”. They will roll into 500 Sainsbury’s stores on 22 July.

They were “designed to bring nostalgic bold flavours to lunchboxes and everyday snacking,” said Crave.

“Cheezy Shuffles and Roast Beef-ish Rotaters are designed to bring bold flavour and nostalgic comfort in a convenient free-from format,” said Crave founder Rob Brice. “They are everything we believe snacks should be – fun, flavour-packed and inclusive.

“We wanted to create something that brings people joy, no matter their dietary needs. There are very few free-from multipack snacks on the market and as shoppers turn to smaller packs to save on costs, it made sense for our next launch to fill this gap so kids and adults with allergies or intolerances don’t feel like they’re missing out.”

The NPD comes after Crave launched the UK’s first gluten-free and vegan pink wafer biscuit – Pink Cheetah Wafters – in April.
