Adams Foods has teamed up with Greencore to launch two Pilgrims Choice-branded quiches.

They come in two flavours - cheese & onion and cheese & bacon - and will go into Asda and The Co-operative shortly on an initial three-week promotional listing (rsp: £2.79 for 350g).

Adams will be looking to secure permanent listings later in the year.

The company claimed this was the first time a Cheddar brand had been used on a quiche.

“We hope that our strong brand name will resonate with consumers and ensure that the quicches are a success and are launched with full listings later this year,” added Adams Foods marketing director Alastair Jackson.
