Fresh produce company Fyffes has formed a 50:50 joint venture with Suri Fruit Agency, a distributor of high altitude fruits in Northern India.
The new company will be called Suri Agro Fresh Pvt Ltd and will be based in Delhi, India.
Carl McCann, Chairman of Fyffes, added: “We have been trading with India for many years and this is Fyffes' first direct investment in the country.”
