Nescafe Azera

’Floral Fashion’ by Emma Sprules

Nestlé has revealed limited edition packaging for its Nescafé Azera range of premium instant coffee, produced by brand activation agency Twelve in collaboration with students at Farnham’s University for the Creative Arts.

Marking the second consecutive year Azera, Twelve and UCA have worked together, a seven-strong line-up of collectable tins is available in Tesco from today (29 June).

The range will roll out later across all major supermarkets as part of the ‘Nescafé Azera By Design’ campaign to highlight the “craftsmanship and creativity inherent” in the brand.

Students were briefed to create designs that demonstrated Azera’s “passion for quality coffee” by taking inspiration from their own “experiences of coffee and urban culture”. The final seven designs were selected by “key stakeholders” from Nestlé.

On the reverse of each of the packs – named Perseverance, Floral Fashion, City Sunrise, Paper Planes, Particles, Conquer the Day, Hustle & Bustle – is a quote from the designer.

Brand manager Laura Muirhead said: “We saw tremendous success with this campaign first time round and are equally impressed by the designs the UCA students have delivered for 2016.

“We’re confident the limited edition tins will have cut-through on shelf and offer customers a vibrant alternative to their usual product choice.”
