John West has launched a new canned tuna steak that contains five times more omega-3 than a standard can, it claims.
The company has added extra omega-3 to its tuna to provide 100% of the recommended daily intake of the nutrient in one can. Marketing manager Fiona O’Keeffe said John West Tuna Steaks with Omega-3 would appeal to families with young children who struggle to include enough omega-3 in their diets.
John West Tuna Steaks with Omega-3 will retail for £1.49 per tin and £4.19 for a triple pack.
