Knorr is making its debut in the herbs & spices category with the launch of Knorr Flavour Pots.

Brand owner Unilever said the product, which used the same patented jelly-based technology as Knorr’s Stock Pot and Gravy Pot, would “revolutionise the category” by providing the “flavour of fresh with the convenience of dried”.

The £1.59 Flavour Pots will roll out to supermarkets next week in packs of four backed by a £3.5m TV campaign. The range features five flavours including Curry, Mixed Herbs and Three Peppercorn. “We are confident Knorr Flavour Pots will bring growth to the market by encouraging dried herb users to trade up,” says Knorr brand manager Vanni Cataldi.
