Long Clawson Dairy has revealed plans to introduce a value range for shoppers on a lower budget.
The range, details of which have not yet been released, would also provide a safety net in case sales of the company's more premium products experienced a downturn, said Long Clawson MD, Martin Taylor.
While like-for-like sales through July, August and September had been down by 5% year-on year, the company had recovered all of this amount during the Christmas period, he added.
