Leading olive oil supplier Filippo Berio has appointed Andy Coult as its new UK sales director.
Reporting to managing director Walter Zanre, Coult joins from world food wholesale specialist Surya Foods, where he has been sales director since March 2018.
Prior to that, Coult spent just over seven years as general manager for Grace Foods UK, where he had responsibility for commercial, marketing and procurement.

Prior to Grace Foods, he spent seven years at Dole Food Company as sales director for northern Europe, having started out in grocery with Douwe Egberts.
“Now is an exciting time to join this business and accelerate our market-leading position,” said Coult. “With our focus on quality and such an exciting marketing programme planned for this year and beyond, we are well-placed to maintain our momentum.”
Filippo Berio grocery sales have grown by 8.1% over the past year to £35.2m [Nielsen MAT 52 w/e 23 March 2019].
