Spirits distributor Roust has appointed Neil Jardine as its UK MD.
Jardine has over 25 years of industry experience and was MD for Disaronno UK until June 2021.
Prior to that, the fmcg veteran held various senior roles in sales and category development positions at Nestlé, Douwe Egberts and Greene King.
In the new role, which he has already started, Jardine would lead Roust UK’s innovation and sustainability programme and focus on expanding its portfolio “to drive further growth and profitability”, it said.
“We are delighted to have appointed Neil to take over the running of our business in the UK, which is a key export market for Roust,” said Jonathan Ashworth, Roust MD for Europe, the Middle East & Africa.
His “breadth of experience and most recently his valuable experience setting up Disaronno UK” would be a “great asset” to the company, Ashworth added.
Jardine said he was “a long-term admirer” of the Roust vodka portfolio.
“The opportunity to have a hand in shaping the future of the Roust brands in the UK is extremely energising, and I am privileged to have been given the opportunity,” he added.
