What was your first-ever job? I was an intern at a recruitment consultancy in Paris during the third year of my degree.

What was your worst job interview? Enlisting a touch of creative licence, I once embellished a point on my CV. I subsequently got entangled in a web of exaggerated truths, which I thought had gone unnoticed until the feedback picked out that point in particular.

What was the first music single you bought? “Frankie”- Sister Sledge. It’s an absolute classic - I think I still remember the dance routine.

How do you describe your job to your mates? I bring to life the promise of clean and very fresh derrières to the nation.

What is the most rewarding part of your job? Working in a dynamic team who share a unique vision and passion for the brand and category.

What is the least rewarding part? Hearing about the lack of consumer understanding with regards to flushing baby wipes down the toilet.

What is your motto in life? Everything will be OK in the end. If it’s not OK then it’s not the end.

What’s your nickname? Greendog.

If you were allowed one dream perk what would it be? First class travel for me and my family.

What’s your favourite movie and why? I can watch Amélie again and again. It is beautiful and endearing, plus it’s set against a stunning Parisian backdrop. I love the realism of French cinema.

What has been the most embarrassing moment in your life? Couldn’t possibly go into that - but it involved camping.

If you could pick a celebrity to join your staff who would it be and why? Barack Obama, for his wit, charm, superb eloquence and inspiring story. He knows how to cope with highly charged and challenging situations.

If you could change one thing in the grocery industry what would it be? The convoluted processes involved when bringing an initiative to life in the trade.

What luxury would you have on your desert island? A solar powered iPad to keep me entertained and connected.

What animal best reflects your personality and why? A flamingo, so I’m told! Poised, colourful, the owner of long pins and a sociable team player.
