What was your first-ever job? Sales assistant at Bejam frozen food (now Iceland) - I had a great uniform.

What was your worst job interview? An interview for a bar job during a summer break at university - it turned out that I couldn’t reach the pint glasses above the bar. However they gave me a job in the restaurant instead.

What was the first music single you bought? Kate Bush - Babooshka (I am showing my age here!) with money given to me by my grandfather.

How do you describe your job to your mates? Fun and hard work

What’s the most rewarding part of your job? Getting to try all our fantastic products - deciding what to cook for tea is never a problem if you work for our company.

What’s the least rewarding part? The expanding waistline gained as a result of all the great products

If you were allowed one dream perk what would it be? Extra time off for good behaviour along with free flights to sunny destinations.

What’s your favourite movie and why? Dumb & Dumber - it never fails to have me crying with laughter, especially the ‘snowball’ and ‘toilet’ scenes.

What’s been the most embarrassing moment in your life? Losing a major item of clothing on the descent of a bungee jump in Cyprus - too embarrassing to give any more detail!

If you could pick a celebrity to join your staff who would it be and why? Jamie Oliver - perhaps he could be permanently based in our kitchen and supply us with a never-ending feast of delicious treats to help us through the day.

If you could change one thing in the grocery industry what would it be? More focus on understanding the mechanics that add consumer value on top of price promotions.

What luxury would you have on your desert island? Cadbury chocolate - and lots of it!

What animal best reflects your personality? Why? A dog - friendly and loyal, and loves to play outside.
