Cocos Organic has announced the launch of its new organic coconut milk yoghurt tubes for children over six months.
The coconut-based yoghurt alternative is available in strawberry and banana flavours and is free from dairy, gluten, nuts and refined sugar (rsp: £3/5x40g).
They launch in Waitrose stores and online in Ocado and Abel & Cole in September.
The tubes are made from organic coconut milk, strawberry purée and natural banana flavourings. They also contain fewer than 60 calories and 3g sugar per tube, falling well into the government’s recommended guidelines for snacks for school.
The product is also fortified with live bacteria including Bifidobacterium BB-12, which is fermented with the coconut milk to create a live coconut yoghurt alternative that contains billions of live bacteria that help support good gut health and promote immunity.
The “spoon-free range comes in a box of five, making them perfect for school lunchboxes and ideal for picnics or days out with the family”, said the brand.
