Five flavours have rolled into the retailer (rsp: £5.75)

Casual dining brand Franco Manca has launched a range of sourdough pizzas into Tesco.

Five flavours – Butternut Squash, Stilton & Pumpkin Seeds; Fennel Sausage, Chargrilled Red Pepper & Mozzarella; Quattro Formaggi with Balsamic Glaze; Spicy Salami, Fried Onion, Honey Infused Chilli; and Spiced Beef Meatball, Red Onion & Pecorino – have rolled into the retailer (rsp: £5.75).

They were inspired by the specials served in Franco Manca restaurants.

Franco Manca chairman David Page said he was “so happy to give the nation more ways than ever to enjoy our pizzas”.

“Whether you’re new to our unmistakable sourdough or have been dining with us since we opened in Brixton back in 2008, we’re so glad to finally bring our range of meaty and vegetarian options to Tesco stores for all to enjoy.”

Franco Manca is one of many restaurant brands to have ventured into retail over recent months.

Carluccio’s launched a range of chilled restaurant-inspired lines into Sainsbury’s in January; Zizzi launched a range of frozen dishes into Tesco in March; and Cinnamon Kitchen launched a range of chilled dishes into Tesco in September.
