Posh mixer brand Franklin & Sons has teamed up with Red Leg rum for a new RTD.
The cocktail (5% abv) is billed as “a beautiful blend of spiced Red Leg rum, infused with vanilla and ginger, perfectly paired with Franklin & Sons 1886 Cola and a twist of lime”.
It drew inspiration ”from the unique flavour combinations first explored by the Franklin family back in Victorian Britain, the 1886 Cola includes west African kola nut and Colombian coffee beans, adding a unique twist to everyone’s favourite, the classic rum and cola”, said Franklin & Sons brand manager Rosie Crossman.
The RTD has rolled into the Co-op in 250ml cans.
It marks the latest in a series of collaborative RTDs from the Global Brands-owned mixer, which has launched gin & tonic RTDs with the likes of Portobello Road Gin, Caorunn and Manchester Raspberry Gin.
