Gü is to offer a range of single-serve products.
The six-strong line-up will be available from next month and will include variants such as Chocolate & Vanilla Cheesecake, Key Lime Pie, and Hot Chocolate Soufflé (rsp: £1.80).
The new single ramekin format was the brand’s first single-portion launch since a trial in 2006 that was halted to further develop the core Gü twin-pack format.
It was “a natural next step” for Gü as it looked to drive category growth, said head of brand Chris Heyn, adding demand for single-serve was growing. The single puds would “open up a breadth of choice” for households with members that enjoyed different puds, he added.
