Tzatziki and Smoky Garlic Aioli rolled into Waitrose this week (rsp: £2.50/170g)

Holy Moly has added a duo of ‘creamy’ vegan dips for Veganuary.

Tzatziki and Smoky Garlic Aioli promised “creamy indulgence without any compromise on taste”, said the posh dips brand (rsp: £2.50/170g).

Made with a blend of plant-based mayo and yoghurt, they contain no artificial ingredients.

The dips rolled into Waitrose earlier this week (3 January).

Holy Moly co-founder Tom Walker said: “Our principles around wholesome, quality ingredients and delicious homemade taste give us a genuine point of difference in dips for consumers across the board.”

Consumers were “becoming increasingly discerning” about what went into their food, he added.

It comes after the brand has spent recent months making concerted efforts to expand beyond its upmarket guacamole heartlands.

Last March, it debuted a Tomato & Mango Salsa and unveiled plans to develop “a whole basket of genuinely better dips”.

In 2020, it made surprise moves into the breakfast and RTD drinks categories with an overnight oats product and a trio of plant-based ‘Nutshakes’.
