The trio is said to boost the nutritional value of breakfast meals

Linwoods has unveiled a new range of breakfast toppers aimed at adding “more goodness” to shoppers’ breakfasts.

The Crunchy Seed Clusters range comprises three flavours: Crunchy Seed Clusters with Flaxseed & Cranberries, Crunchy Seed Clusters with Flaxseed & Nuts and Crunchy Seed Clusters with Pumpkin & Chia Seed.

The range was designed for sprinkling on yoghurts, cereals, porridge and overnight oats for an “added morning health boost”, said the brand.

All three SKUs are vegetarian and contain 1.8g fibre per 20g serving, and are touted as a source of plant-based protein, omega-3 ALA (alpha linolenic acid) and magnesium.

“We believe breakfast is one of the most important meals of the day and that we all need to practice positive habits at mealtimes,” said Linwoods owner John Woods.

“Adding 20g of our new Crunchy Seed Clusters to cereal, porridge or yoghurt will boost the meal’s nutritional value, while also offering a sweet and crunchy texture.”

The trio has launched into Waitrose, with Ocado and Holland & Barrett to follow later this month, ahead of Sainsbury’s in February (rsp: £3.99/200g).
