Speciality food supplier Merchant Gourmet is moving into the snack pots market with a range of quinoa-based lines.
The Quinoa Snack Pots will make their debut in April in Ocado in Tangy Tomato & Piquillo Pepper; Vegetable Ragu; and Roasted Courgette with Basil and Lemon (rsp: £2.29/210g).
Quinoa has grown in popularity as an alternative to starchy grains, and appears in products such as ready meals, breads and babyfoods.
