Artisanal chocolate brand Montezuma’s has unveiled its Easter lineup – including two new dark chocolate products positioned as vegan-friendly.
The Absolute Black 100% Cocoa Button Egg (rsp: £9.99/250g) comprises 98% dark chocolate and 2% cocoa nibs. It had been added to build on the success of Montezuma’s 100% bars launched last April, said the brand.
Its new dark chocolate Peanut Butter Mini Eggs – filled with salted peanut butter and suitable for vegans – will join the existing milk chocolate variant in a 150g bag (rsp: £3.99).
Montezuma’s had seen “a huge demand for our dark chocolate and vegan ranges” said the business’s co-founder Helen Pattinson. “We are delighted to offer our 100% Absolute Black chocolate in egg form.”
The brand’s offer for Easter 2018 was “a collection of new products together with some of our popular favourites” she added.
It includes Organic Chocolate Button Eggs, Nutty Filled Eggs, Peanut Butter Truffle Eggs, Organic Cheeky Chocolate Bunnies, and Organic Eco Eggs – with rsps ranging from £5.49 to £19.99. The full assortment will be available in Montezuma’s stores in Chichester, Brighton, Woking, Kingston, Winchester and Spitalfields, as well as online.
