Premier Foods has unveiled the Christmas lineups for its Mr Kipling and Cadbury Cakes brands – with new products joining “classic favourites and bestsellers”.
Mr Kipling’s NPD comprises the adult-orientated Stem Ginger Slices (rsp: £2.29/pack of six) made with real stem ginger pieces, ginger sauce and chocolate fondant, and the family focused Candy Cane Slices (rsp: £1.50/pack of eight) promising “subtle raspberry and vanilla flavours”.
Returning lines include Deep Filled Mince Pies (rsp: £1.50/pack of six), Frosty Fancies (rsp: £1/pack of eight) and Stollen Slices (rsp: £2.29/pack of six).
All come in refreshed packaging, in line with the revamped look Mr Kipling launched across its portfolio earlier this year.
In Cadbury Cakes’ yuletide selection, the new SKUs are Chocolate & Caramel Reindeer Cake (rsp: £3) – chocolate sponge with caramel-flavoured crème, covered in Cadbury chocolate and topped with a white chocolate Rudolph plaque – and All I Want For Xmas (rsp: £4), a 12-cake selection of Mini Rolls, Festive Cake Bars, Festive Flake Cakes, Mini Yule Logs, Caramel Cakes and Roses Strawberry Dream Cake Bars.
