Nestlé is ramping up its snacks portfolio with the debut of new fruit and nut-based snacks brand Yes!.

The brand’s five cereal bar variants claim no added sugar or artificial additives and are available in multipacks of three (rsp: £2.99) and as individual bars (rsp: £1.20).

They began rolling out across the mults last week in Beetroot & Apple; Lemon, Quinoa & Chilli; Sea Salt, Dark Choc & Almond; Cranberry & Dark Choc and Coffee, Dark Choc & Cherry flavours.

The two fruit-based bars featured enough fruit & veg to count towards one of the recommended 5 a day portions, while each of the nut bars are high in fibre, it said.

“Yes! sets out with the ambition to prove to consumers that wholesome products within this snacking category can be utterly delicious too,” said senior brand manager Louisa Parrillo.

The new bars “balanced taste and nutrition to make compromise a thing of the past”, Nestlé added, in addition to tapping growing trends for free-from foods with gluten-free credentials. Its fruit bars were also vegan, it added.
