It combines almond butter, sunflower & pumpkin seed butters, blueberries and coconut & almond nibs.

Pip & Nut has added a limited-edition Blueberry Trail Mix flavour to its roster of almond butters.

The vegan-friendly NPD is made using almond butter, sunflower and pumpkin seed butters, blueberries and coconut and almond nibs.

It is billed as being high in fibre and a source of protein and healthy fats, with “only natural ingredients” and no palm oil.

Pip & Nut founder Pippa Murray said the brand wanted to “invigorate the category with new and exciting flavour combinations”.

“By bringing two trends, trail mix and blueberries, together, we believe we’ve created something really special and another first to market in the UK.”

It hit Sainsbury’s, Boots, Whole Foods Market, Holland & Barrett and Ocado on 1 January and will launch into Morrisons on 13 January (rsp: £3.95/225g).

It marks the latest in a series of limited-edition launches for the brand, including Pumpkin Spice and Cherry Bakewell almond butters.
