Pizza Express is hoping to tap the home cooking boom by launching its pizza dough into grocery.
Two formats – ready-rolled and puck – have hit the shelves in Tesco and Asda (rsp: £1.75-£2/400g).
Each SKU takes 20 minutes to cook “so you can tuck into your take on the Sloppy Giuseppe, American Hot, or the Padana in no time”, said Pizza Express.
The launch would give everyone “even more reason to learn the art of the pizzaiolo”, it added.
