Speyburn has added a new limited-edition Single Cask whisky.

Only 222 bottles of the 52.5% abv spirit have been made. It has launched into Gordon & MacPhail and other specialist retailers, and is the first Speyburn single cask whisky to launch exclusively into the UK market (rsp: £90/70cl).

It had a nose of “hints of pineapple, almonds, creamy white chocolate and sweet vanilla” with “notes of banoffee pie, light citrus fruits and honey all wrapped together with a hint of tobacco”, said the brand.

“The whisky embodies Speyburn’s signature style, reflecting the heritage and stunning natural landscape of the distillery’s home in the heart of Speyside,” said Speyburn brand manager Gillian Gibson.
