Tesco has added a duo of large-format pre-mixed cocktails to its Finest brand.
Negroni and Espresso Martini are rolling out across more than 300 stores, both with an abv of 19% (rsp: £15/70cl).
The NPD would tap the growing trend for cocktails at home, which had been a “real driving force” behind the development of the SKUs, said Tesco spirits product developer Danielle Jack.
The Negroni contains sweet vermouth, orange bitters, “aromatic” orange oil and London dry gin, while the Espresso Martini contains French grain vodka, coffee liqueur and espresso coffee.
“We are proud to have used top quality ingredients, stated in the classic recipes, which have been expertly mixed,” said Jack.
